Thrifty Thursday #2: Free Mother's Day Card!

If you're cheap frugal like me, you must, RIGHT NOW, start following My Free Product Samples. She posts pretty much every freebie there is on there. I love to sign up for almost all of them. It's almost as satisfying as shopping and doesn't cost a thing!

A totally awesome freebie she posted was for a FREE Mother's Day Card from CardStore.com. Click the link to see her post where she shares all the details you need to know! This is completely free. I ordered an Easter card for my nephew for free about a month ago and today I personalized a super cute card for my sister. Even more awesome, for no additional cost, they will even deliver it for you! I don't have to scavenge for a stamp!

The card I sent to my nephew last month.

Girl's night!

I didn't take many cell phone pics this week so instead of my usual BeFunky Monday I'm going to share with you a much needed girls night I had last week.
Jeff gave me this for our first Valentines

I'm trying really hard to reconnect with old friends and make new ones while I'm at it. Since meeting my husband my social life has suffered pretty seriously. As a distraction from all the crappy stuff going on in my life right now, I invited my old friend Gabby and her friend (hopefully my new friend) Nicole to come over and play with make-up and then have a little photo shoot. We decided to set up my hookah as well and then Gabby decided we should take pictures with the smoke. It was pretty neat looking. I feel just a little terrible portraying smoking in such a glamorous light so disclaimer, I had the BIGGEST head ache after. Now I remember why I never set it up anymore :p. Anyways, here are the adorable pics!

Can you tell I had too much fun editing them?

Fabulous Freebie Finds Friday! #3

Here's a quicky for you... ooh la la ;p

I've been just loving these printable flowers from Ellinee. She has a few different styles and colors to choose from and they're all just adorable. So far, I've made a couple for photo props and I'm in the process of making a little bouquet for decoration in my house. I'm also thinking I'll make a wreath. I just love them :D

All her fabulous printables can be downloaded from her site here

BeFunky Monday! {21}

We did a photowalk of the Living Planet Aquarium a
couple weeks ago. I got the penny for my mom's
collection and the turtle necklace for me, in
remembrance of my grandma who loved turtles.
Did my nails for Easter. The first time
they've looked decent since I got this ring.
Props and Junk ready for a newborn shoot.

And another I added some glitter to :)

Fabulous Freebie Finds Friday! #2

Sorry I didn't post last week. I was on the road for Easter. The crazy weekend means I've been playing catch up all week, so I'm sorry for missing Thrifty Thursday as well.  Don't worry though, I've got just the thing to cheer you up!

My cute mirror looked so plain and depressing after I took down my Easter banner, I felt I really need to get some new decorations up asap. It was too early to decorate for Mother's Day so I hopped on trusty old Pinterest and searched for "spring printables." I figured nondescript items can be left up longer. I was pretty excited when I found this great little printable, by Jones Design Company, that is perfect for April through May! You can read the original post here.

The next freebie I have for you is just absolutely adorable. It comes from Ellinee. She has great pics on her blog. She glued the butterflies to small clothes pins to clip to things but I just cut them out and taped them directly to my mirror. You can see the original post here.

All I did here was print, cut and tape!
I Just love the cute little butterflies... I may have to print another set :)
