Cutting Back

So I've kinda lost my spark. Blogging is seeming too much like another task than a hobby. I've decided I'll be cutting back on my blogging. Thanks for all of your support thus far! I plan on blogging about my fun adventures around town and such still but I'll probably cut back on the random venting and such. Just wanted to let you all know what's up and that I won't be disappearing completely!

{3}Happiness Is...

Happiness is... equality

With today kicking off Salt Lake City's Annual PRIDE festival, this subject is hot on everyones' minds, around town. Local businesses hang rainbow colored flags, paint their store windows showing support, offer specials or are participating in the festivities. It's a fun way to start the summer and so many people come to show their support! The event runs at Washington Square, downtown, from tonight (June 3) until Sunday (June 5). Tickets are $10, children 12 and under get in free! There is a parade on 200 south between 4th east and West Temple, Sunday from 10 am to 11:30 am. FRIENDLY dogs are allowed. People of any age, race, gender, religion or sexual orientation are all welcomed to come and join in for a fun time! For more info visit

SLC's Friday Night Flicks ~FREE~

Another reason to love summers in Salt Lake!
Every Friday night from June 3rd to July 15th the Salt Lake Community, along with City Weekly and CW30, shows a FREE family friendly movie in one of Salt Lake's beautiful parks. The films are shown on large inflatable screens and they offer free popcorn while supplies last.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs (although, if you bring chairs, please consider others when choosing where to set them up). There will be community booths/vendors opening around 8pm and the movies will be starting around 9pm.
This is a great free date or family night. Pack a pic-nic dinner or pick up some KFC and you can't go wrong!

What I Love Wednesday #7

Fabric Flower Tutorial Round-Up!

With spring in the air, this week I'm loving flowers! I have a bunch of felt sitting in my closet that I've been meaning to use on some felt flowers but have not had the time to get around to it.

Here are some of my favorite flower tutorials that I've gathered up from around the interwebs so that you all may make the world a more beautiful place!
